UNFOLD is an acclaimed live concept led by some of Britain’s most vital young poets – inviting them to recast their words with a string ensemble, percussionists and visual artists.

A curated experience that transcends spoken word, contemporary classical, jazz’s new wave and electronica. It sounds like Kate Tempest fused with Ezra Collective.

UnFOLD lies in the space between language, music and illustration. From the team behind Lyrix Organix (Rum Shack – Glastonbury, British Council, Roundhouse).

With headline shows at Brighton Festival (at invitation of Kate Tempest), Roundhouse and Love Supreme Festival; collaborations with London Symphony Orchestra and recent solo performances at Lovebox already under their belt, UnFOLD embarks on their first UK tour with a spellbinding 60 minute live production featuring 3 spoken word artists + full band + animations – every show is a one-off experience.

This show will feature:

Chloe Florence
Chloe Florence is a founding member of Shutdown Collective, part of Roundhouse Poetry Collective, Longlisted for the Outspoken Poetry Prize & Vault Festival New Writers Award Winner (her play ‘White Trash’ premiered at Vault Festival as part of VNWA Showcase)

Tonight’s performance contains a special commission as part of Art 50, a scheme commissioned by Sky Arts to explore the notion of British identity in the wake of Brexit.

Support comes from jazz-drummer and electronic music producer Tim Doyle’s recent project, Chiminyo, a one-man live show building up detailed dancescapes with arpeggiating chords and thumping bass lines.
