Alexander Hawkins is widely recognised as one of the UK’s most innovative and imaginative pianists, organists and composers. Along with his solo performances, he works in a vast array of creative contexts including leading and composing for his Quartet, Ensemble and his Nonet.

Kaja Draksler is a Slovenian pianist and composer. After her studies in the Netherlands, Kaja decided to stay in Amsterdam, where she is an active member of the improvisers scene, performing extensively all over the Europe. As a composer she has been commissioned by various international groups, ranging from vocal and chamber ensembles to big bands and orchestras.

Multiple award-winning pianist Bojan Z (for Zulfikarpasic) was born in former Yugoslavia in 1968. He harmoniously blends and twists his colourful musical baggage, from his thorough classical music schooling, Brazilian music and The Beatles, to Balkan folklore, blues and jazz. Bojan Z is not afraid to wander off the beaten tracks, yet never loses his taste for melody and song form. He is one of the most remarkably individual talents of European jazz.

Jazz pianist Giovanni Guidi was born in Foligno in 1985. He is one of the most outstanding musicians to have emerged in Italian jazz in the last decade. Giovanni Guidi has been named ‘Best New Talent’ by a jury of 58 journalists and critics in the ‘Top Jazz’ poll, held annually by the Italian magazine ‘Musica Jazz.’
